Speaking of the one who has important influence on me, I have to mention my father. My old man has devoted 20 years to my personal development. He has born blames and misunderstandings all the way till now. But I do appreciate the sacrifice he made for the family and me.

My dad has always been a stubborn and introvert guy. He has never been good at socialization. So he deosn't seem to have many friends or other kinds of social resources, which was crucial in the eyes of many people back in 1990s. Natrually he was expelled by his supervisor and lost his job when I was about 6. At that time almost anyone began to look down upon him and blame him for his "bad personality". He didn't argue and focused mainly on assisting me on my studies.

One thing is that he trained himself to be a nutriologist. He planned and made meals for me everyday to guarantee that I could eat well. By the way, I like my father's cooking, especially the pork stew, yummy. During my high school years, I always studied over night. His weekly menu helped me maitain a good condition.

The other thing is that his “control” over the TV programs I watched. I said he is stubborn, but he was not that kind of control freak who rudely forbids me from wathing game shows or sports shows. He just secretly guided me into watching news, documentaries or TV series about historical affairs. These programms helped me a lot in better understanding my course, which became a significant factor for my straight-A performance upon my graduation from high school.

Dead beat, that's the label many people stuck on my father. I personality never thought of that. He just transformed his character from the "working man" into the "house-husband". I also benefited a lot from the programs I watched. Most importantly, my dad inspired me how to think deeply and link knowledge together under the case of brain-storming. He might be a loser in those people's eyes, but he would always be my hero.
